San Diego!
Ok I’m off to San Diego tonight (well technicly tomorrow morning). I got my new Asus Eee PC Net book so i’m gonna try something different this year, i’m gonna try and update my blog daily while at the con. We’ll see how that goes. I might be too tired (or drunk) to do it every night. I might also just be so engrossed in my comics i’m picking up i might forget. But i’ll try i promise. But i’m gonna do one more sketch dump before i go. Most of this art you have already seen on my website or Deviant art site. But some people read my blog but not really into my site, or twitter, or whatever so i like to post it where i can. (more exposure the better right?)

I'm REALLY loving Inking by hand and then toning and lettering in Manga Studio. Pretty sure i'm gonna work like this whenever i can.
New thing I Litterally just started doing. No pencil. I used non photo blue to lay out the page, then went straight to ink. I think i'm onto someting here...
a sequential experement where i tried to just keep everything loose and organic. aka no rulers. I've gotten good feedback, but i'm not convinced.
I did a drawing 100% digitally (you'll see it farther down.) The anatomy stunk on it so i sketched this to make me feel better about my drawing skills...
I saw this girl in the food court last week. My art often "exagerates" anatomy (most often in the women) but i swear its very accurate to the source here...(i didn't know they made girls like this in Connecticut)

sketched pencils by hand. Inked digitally. Looked like she was in a trance so i added the word balloons. Looks good, but it feels like it takes longer than real ink.
Another sketch by hand ink digitally experement. Again good result but i just feel like it takes longer than it should. Maybe cause i can erase i nitpick the lines too much?
Okay this hypnotic theme just went too far... Anyways this is a digitally drawn piece. If i'm gonna do this more i need a cintiq. I mean this isn't HORRIBLE but the anatomy is off all over the place (and no, not just where your eyes are drawn to...) My War Angel at the top was to redeem me from this piece...
