I’ve been trying to spark conversations with those who follow me on social networks, so I can get to know the people who follow me. Know what they like, don’t like, want to see more of etc. And also so this doesn’t become a one way street. I don’t want to be the guy thats always talking at you. I want you all to feel like you can tell me stuff too!
Todays conversation is about comics, and specifically the comic that you read that made you think “yes, I love this, give me more!!” Or purt simpler, what was the comic, that got you into comics?
And if you feel like elaborating you can even tell me who was the person who introduced comics to you, (assuming it was someone, and you didn’t just find one laying around one day, and was addicted to it.)
For me it was X-Men #1 (the 1991, Jim Lee X-men, not the first issue of the book by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee). The book was introduced to me by a friend whom I’ve had since kindergarden who’s still my friend today (and I’m 30 years old). When we go to cons together we ravage $1 comic bins looking for old issues of X-Factor and X-men to complete our collections…. good times.
So Tell me! I want to know! What got you into comics?
