So my webcomic/self published comic Shadows of Oblivion has a little bit of an overhaul on the website. I’m pretty excited about it, so since this is my blog I’m going to tell you about it!

First the Front page is revamped:

Everything’ pretty self explanatory here.  My personal favorite is the rotating banner.  I know you’re thinking “Shono, every website has that, it’s not a big deal.”  Well it is when you spend 2 day’s figuring out the damn code to make it work right!….. that wasn’t frustrating or anything….

But honestly my favorite part of the website is the new page that allows you to read the comic:

Just like last time you can see the comic and cycle through panel by panel.  But now you can enlarge it it’ll take up your browser,  Jump ahead or  back in the comic with the thumbnails.  But most importantly: You can even read it on your iPhone, or iPad now (before you could not because the comic was flash based.)

But my personal favorite, is the new social buttons on the left. If you’re really enjoying the comic, you can send a tweet, tumbl, or recommend the story on facebook. No need to copy and paste links, or anything silly like that, just click the button, type your comment and you’re good to go!

And if you really like the comic, there’s the “print” and “download” buttons to get yourself a print version of the comic, or a pdf version which you can take and read on any of your mobile devices and eReaders. So now you can read your Shadows of Oblivion any way you like to read comics.

So take a look. Explore. Enjoy.  And let me know what you think of the new site!

I’m going to AWA tomorrow (Anima Weekend Atlanta).  I’ll be hanging out in artist alley.  Table E10! So make sure you stop by and say “Hi” if you’re in the area!
